Take magnesium daily to help reduce migraine symptoms

Research on migraine headaches indicates that many migraine sufferers have a magnesium/calcium ratio imbalance. The majority of those do not have enough magnesium. As a preventive measure for those of you who suffer migraines, magnesium should be taken on a daily basis.

Directions:

Mix one level teaspoon of magnesium citrate powder (approximately 3.8 grams per teaspoon) with 1 ounce of 100% cranberry juice (Trader Joe’s or Knudsen’s) and 7 ounces of filtered water and drink in the morning with breakfast. Take less or more depending on your particular situation and your tolerance. If you feel a migraine coming on later on a given day, repeat when you experience the first signs.

Recommended Frequency:

  • Daily and at the first sign of a migraine.

  • Less severe migraines
