Blueberries are full of great stuff for you

Directions:
Eat 1/2 cup of blueberries. Plain. Or with yogurt. Or with whatever else you eat for breakfast. Or as a snack. They contain Polyphenols, salicylic acid, carotenoids, folate, vitamin c, manganese and fiber. It’s also classified as one of the three major super foods according to Dr. Steven Pratt M.D. (spinach and salmon are the other two). And each one is a tasty treat. You can even focus on eating one at a time as part of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness exercises. How can you not love them?

Recommended Frequency:

  • Every day.
  • Makes a good swap for sugary snacks.
