Dip raw sliced apples in raw almond butter

Here’s a great healthy snack to substitute for those sugary ones to get your mid-afternoon energy boost. The health benefits of almonds include relief from: constipation, respiratory disorders, cough, heart disorders, anemia and diabetes.

Almonds help your brain, your hair and your skin, and they contain protein, fiber, healthy fats, Vitamin E, iron, magnesium and calcium.

The health benefits of apples? Really? Do we even need to list them? Okay, benefits include reduced cholesterol, better digestion, weight loss and a healthier heart. Almost too much information, until you realize that this snack is a mouthful of yum!

And it’s perfectly okay to just eat raw almonds with your fresh apple; we just like dipping apples into yummy stuff! Combined with Green Tea, this snack will get you to dinner.

Directions:
Slice up an apple and use one tablespoon of almond butter for your dipping sauce. Eat!
